When I didn’t have a PlayStation 5 yet, I was excited about the release of this game on PC at the beginning of 2022. Now I’m going through it again with a curling iron for the third time.

This game for me is the standard for musical accompaniment. It is very interesting to watch the development of a difficult relationship between father and son to such soundtracks.

The development of Kratos himself relative to the previous parts is also striking. If you show this part, and any previous one, to a person unfamiliar with this series, the person will say that these are two different characters. One is a crazy sick god-killer, the second is a silent, grumbling father (also a god-killer, but here it’s more likely just to protect his son)

The fact that I haven’t played the previous ones didn’t stop me from enjoying the story. I found God of War 2018 to be very entertaining and interesting. I especially liked the boss battles, the main character’s weapons, the development of the relationship between Kratos and his son Atreus, and the touching ending

In addition to the already middle-aged and seemingly wise Kratos, they give him a son who needs to be looked after, trained and protected. The move is also extremely successful - from a taciturn action film, a huge step was taken towards the presentation of the plot, and conversations with the son have a positive effect on the human side of the main character.
