Players lead the Tribe of Dawn and try to survive in a dangerous world inspired by Slavic folklore. The strategy is similar to a mix of "The Witcher" and Frostpunk: from the former, it inherited a dark and brutal setting, and from the latter, a settlement enclosed by a circular wall that can be turned into a real fortress. The village chief also needs to take care of people's health. If life becomes especially difficult for the settlers, they may panic and refuse to obey.
