A legendary global strategy in which you can do whatever you want. For example, take over the whole world for Luxembourg or Liechtenstein. Or engage in routine politics in your own country. There is also a historical spectrum here: you can go through World War II as the USSR or England, or change the course of history by stopping the Wehrmacht in Czechoslovakia, or in the game as Austria, abandon the Anschluss and give battle to the Nazis.
In short, there are an incredible variety of possibilities. If Minecraft is the best sandbox, then Hearts of Iron is the best strategy game
An interesting global strategy against paradoxes. Personally, I am very pleased not only with the gameplay of the game but also with the musical accompaniment. Only the music from this game already makes you want to lead one of the countries and conquer the world or unite against invaders.
The downside of the game for me is the long development of events, even at maximum speed it’s quite a long wait until a couple of months of playing time have passed.
Basically, you should play for the countries proposed at the beginning of the game, they all have an interesting position, national focuses and a global role for the whole world

The game is great especially for fans of strategy and history. Among the minuses, I can mention expensive DLC and a poorly functioning network mode. (All Paradox games have this problem)
