House of the Dead — the game is a virtual shooting gallery in which the camera moves independently and independently of the player. With different actions of the player, the path to the end of the level changes (saving or not saving scientists, changing directions of movement using switches, breaking through passages). During the game, you will come across scientists who can be helped, in gratitude for this they give an additional unit of life. You can also break the boxes — they will contain a golden frog, a first aid kit or a coin. The first aid kit restores one health point, and the coin and frog give additional points.

House of the Dead is one of the most interesting and atmospheric games about zombies in the rail shooter genre. In addition to zombies, the game contains various kinds of mutants,
and bosses. The game has several endings, which gives a reason to replay the game several times.
The graphics in the game are normal for its time, the soundtrack is excellent. If you start
your acquaintance with the series, I recommend starting with the first part.
House of the Dead это одна из самых интересных и атмосферных игр про зомби, в жанре рельсовый шутер. Помимо зомби в игре присутствуют разного рода мутанты,
и боссы. В игре несколько финалов что дает повод перепройти игру несколько раз.
Графика в игре для своего времени нормальная, саундтрек отличный. Если начать
свое знакомство с серией, то рекомендую начать именно с первой части.
