Updated to modern standards, the classic first icewind dale based on the rules of DnD.
The player is given control of up to 6 characters created from scratch. The list contains a fairly standard set for “dungeons” - humans, elves, dwarves, half-orcs and similar representatives of the races of Feyrun. They will let you scatter parameter points and choose a character class.

The first part is not replete with dialogues and side quests; its main focus is combat. Под управление игрока дается до 6 создаваемых с нуля персонажей. В списке довольно стандартный для "подземелий" набор — люди, эльфы, дварфы, полуорки и подобные представители рас Фейруна. Дадут раскидать очки параметров, выбрать класс персонажа.
А дальше — зимние просторы Долины ледяного ветра.
Первая часть не изобилует диалогами и сайд квестами, ее основное направление — бои. Кои проходят в реальном времени с активной паузой, включают в себя все необходимое, что бы не заскучать — мечи, топоры, копья и другое колюще-рубещее, огненные шары, кислотные туманы, магические щиты на любой вкус, удар из тени и ловушки в том числе.
