Empathy for Vito. He's a very likable character. A game with voice acting in Russian, not like Mafia 3. The game has customization of cars and clothes. There is no such thing in Mafia 3.

And it all turned out to be due to the banal “cutting off” of everything possible: from various opportunities to entire missions. As a result, the game did not become a revelation, even if some small things turned out especially well (a hodgepodge of decades from the middle of the last century, the introduction of those same posters with young ladies and the connection with the first “Mafia”). Great game, I don’t understand why it was so often hated before. The atmosphere of the early 50s is perfectly conveyed. Riding in the car while listening to music from the local radio is great.

Hi all! I think every old man should have played mafia! Part 2 of the legendary Mafia game series. Yes, everyone remembers Joe and Vito Scallete! I don’t know about you, but I completed all the DLC for Mafia 2 and completed the story 100% several times. I believe that the developers approached development as seriously as possible, these are not your GTA! I’m very pleased with the presence of Russian voice acting and not only the characters in the plot, but even ordinary passers-by (which cannot be said about part 3!), the only thing that could be done is your own website with mods for the mafia! Thanks to the developers for this masterpiece! There are quite a few games like this these days!

The incredible atmosphere that envelops you from the very first seconds of the initial chapter, the snow, the girls, the screams of drunken friends under the window, everything immerses you in something so immense, going straight into the depths of your heart.

The gameplay is varied, although in general it’s not clear what to do after the plot and DLC. Many people mention that the game is cut off for a decent part - this is true, intuitively noticeable moments will catch your eye from the first chapters.

The dark story of Thomas Angello and Vito Scalette. Who tried to survive, protect his mother, and protect his sister, but as soon as he contacted Joe Barbaro, his plans to work in the port collapsed, and what to do. It’s possible to become a mafioso, seize businesses, destroy deals, carry out orders that even an ordinary guy would never dream of, just like that. Through blackmail and murder, you can build a ladder upward. For me, the 2nd part of the game is perfect in every way. Gorgeous race cars and rare vintage cars, the tasks of which will blow the minds of anyone. In Mafia 3 there is no such fleet and the specifics of the game are not the same as in 2, listening to the radio in the car was ideal. And meet the characters we fell in love with. I advise everyone to have a good thing during self-isolation. 10 out of 10.

Mafia 2 is a masterpiece! Everything is here: humor, shootings, empathy for the characters, both main and linear. And of course, the radio deserves special praise, the songs there are simply wonderful! After completing the game I found absolutely everything I heard during the game.

The ending puzzled many people, it’s still a mystery to some, but the fact remains that Joe was not part of the deal (and don’t lie that he wasn’t upset at this point).

Mafia 2 is the part that, despite the scripted nature of the missions, still invites us to replay it over and over again, and we deliver these coupons again and again, listen to Joe’s jokes and try to earn a living after the war in Sicily!

I don’t know what’s wrong, whether the authors didn’t have enough time or money, but the fact remains that the game came out truncated. The first mafia was a masterpiece, which the second part tried to become, but it didn’t work out. When I played through it, I wanted to finish the story faster and here’s why: an absolutely empty city in which there is nothing to do, 85% of the missions are boring both in action and in the scenario. There are, of course, bright sides, such as pumping up cars or robbing shops, but it all gets boring quickly. There are cool missions with shootings, where PhisX from nVidia is present. It’s interesting to watch how glass, wood and other small parts fall apart in physics. But the plot also let us down, clearly not up to par with the first game. At the end there is a feeling of unsaidness, which would have been nice to add DLC, but they turned out to be completely unnecessary.

A story that every self-respecting gamer should know. A story about true friendship, clan war, betrayal. A great atmosphere, which is fueled by cars, music and costumes. The game has very nice graphics even for our time (it won’t hurt the eyes). Well, if to summarize and remember the 3rd part, then 10 out of 10 is a well-deserved result. Nowadays such games are no longer made.

Graphics and gameplay are top notch.

The plot has notes of such cult and world-famous films as “The Godfather”, “Goodfellas”, etc.
