Now I’ll explain the low rating
Everyone likes the game and I like it too, but it’s a little empty
We don’t take into account all sorts of mods like Final Cut since these are mods and not a game, the plot and graphics are good for that year
I I don’t want to offend anyone, the game is good, but they cut too much out of it
Now about the plot, everything is bad with the gameplay

Игра всем нравится и мне тоже она нравится но она немного пустоватая
Моды всякие типа Final Cut мы в счёт не берём так как это моды а не игра сюжет и графика добротная для того года
Я не хочу никого оскорбить игра хорошая но из неё слишком много выпилили
Теперь про сюжет , с геймплеем всё плохо
Мы Вито не Корлеоне а Вито Скалетта который вместе со своим другом Джо воруем а потом нас забирают в армии судя по всему мы от нее бегали
Про локализацию вкратце
Работа сделана мастерами своего дела. Вот вы знали что Вито озвучивал Голлума А Джо Скуби Ду.

I'll probably spoil the whole review by saying that the game is good. It has interesting tasks, it is beautiful, you can still feel the spirit of that time at the edge of your nostrils, and the game has a great start. Yes, I don’t even consider the war level to be bad.

Я пожалуй спойлерну весь отзыв, сказав что игра хорошая. В ней есть интересные задания, она красива, дух того времени всё же чуешь краем ноздри, да и начало у игры великолепное. Да, даже уровень с войной я не считаю плохим.
И всё же как продолжение первой части это провал. Игру стоит оценивать не оглядываясь назад, поскольку грустно смотреть, как личная, красивая, книжная история из первой части превращается в историю подобную ГТА, где мы безвольное чм... существо, которое выполняет поручения всех с "окей" лицом. Вот только это не ГТА. Среди всех персонажей с которыми нам доведётся повтречаться, особо запомнится лишь весёлый алкаш Джо, который действительно вышел на ура, ну и продавец оружия, мелькнувший лишь однажды.

Mafia 2 is an interesting game. It has excellent shooting and perfectly captures America in the 40s and early 50s. The music is simply fantastic!!! And I would be even more happy... but alas, no. Mafia 2 — интересная игра. В ней прекрасная стрельба, прекрасно передана Америка 40-ых и начала 50-ых. Музыка просто фантастическая!!! И я бы радовался ещё больше... но увы нет. Давайте о сюжете. Он... интересный в первой половине игры. До момента попадания в турьму. Миссии сделаны довольно хорошо. Особенно миссия с талонами. Сначала тебе нужно пробраться в здание незаметно и украсть талоны. Ты крадёшь и едешь к Генри. Но тут неожиданно оказывается, что талоны скоро будут не действительны и тебе нужно успеть продать их заправщикам бензина, иначе пиши пропало. Серьёзно, очень классная миссия. Хотелось бы побольше таких миссий, но увы. Во второй половине игры миссии становятся неинтересными от слова "совсем"! The second part of the legendary game smacks of hackwork. The graphics, physics, and lighting became better, but the script lost. The game has become stupid compared to the first part, it doesn’t have all those special features, atmosphere, futurism that were in the first part. It's ok for 2010, but it could have been much better.
Вторая часть легендарной игры изрядно попахивает халтурой. Стала лучше графика, физика, свет, но проиграл сценарий. Игра по сравнению с первой частью поглупела что ли, нет всех тех особых фишек, атмосферы, футуристичности, что были в первой части. Для 2010 года нормально, но можно было гораздо лучше.
