I completed it in 2019, I’m not very familiar with this series, I remember that as a child I played the second part on a curling iron and the first on the computer, but that was so long ago that I don’t remember the whole concept of the game, but I can say for sure that the third part was excellent .

I finished it in one evening: the plot, gameplay and graphics pleased me, it’s even strange that a sequel never came out, I can say that it’s a must-read.

Very interesting game! At the time it came out, I didn’t even know it was being developed, but it turned out very well. I would like to note that the graphics are up to par, the optimization is almost perfect, the game is still not for laptops, but the game still worked on my old laptop, and even very well. The gameplay is slightly interrupted by cutscenes that cannot be skipped, so if you go through the second round, the cutscenes can start to infuriate. The engine that GTA 4 previously used was greatly improved, because in GTA it was supposedly tested, in my opinion they have done well now, and especially in GTA 5. I advise you to try it not only for those people who have a $2000 computer, but also for those less advanced in this matter!

I remember back in 2009, when I first saw the image of Max from the third part, I was immediately perplexed. Bald, in Brazil, what the hell? Yes, and many people also got burned: like, where is noir, why sunny Brazil? But when the game came out, all complaints disappeared. Brilliant gameplay, excellent graphics, and shootouts... Above all praise. And noir remained in place. It’s just that many people didn’t really know the meaning of this word. I've played through part 3 several times and will most likely do it again.

The 3rd part was controversial in terms of continuing the story, which did not prevent it from being as beloved as the previous 2 parts of the franchise. The action moves from gloomy New York to sunny Brazil, where Max decides to leave his past, which of course he fails. The memory of his dead wife and daughter torments him throughout the entire part, although in the end Max seems to have left his past and continued his life as a retired cop. Max, already familiar to us, and rather battered by fate in the first two parts of the series, is dented even more. It is no longer that cynical policeman with a mocking grin that comes under our control; before us is a man full of his own demons, doubts and deep depression.

New misadventures in Brazil will be higher in degree, more realistic, but no less dynamic. Ahead lies the obligatory shootout under heavy fire, betrayal and acts of revenge.

In short, everything is as we like it.

I liked all three parts. The atmosphere is just right, especially in the first two. In the third part, the developers wanted to convey Max’s mental freezes or glitches through some type of splitting of the image and loss of clarity, I don’t know what it’s called, but it was a little annoying.

This is the best game of its genre in my opinion. The slowdown effect with good graphics and a dynamic plot cannot but rejoice.

I’m writing this review specifically for beginners. Played on the box for the first time in the series. supporter of classics such as sorceries or battles. I didn’t like the mechanics, or rather it’s generally cool, but to my surprise it gets boring very quickly, well, really. You sit in a shelter and shoot enemies, it’s boring. A curious attempt by a company that has been making games about bandits all its life, to try to continue the delicate work of the Finns. The first two Max Payne games shook up the gaming industry with its cinematic gameplay and the very personal story of a police officer who lost his wife and daughter and described in monologues how bad he felt.

Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. From a gameplay perspective, Max Payne 3 is excellent. The developers refreshed the already quite outdated mechanics at that time; in 2012, the third part looked like a perfect action game (today only projects for PS4 and Xbox One look like that). Very interesting storyline. A well-designed online mode, the brightest and most beautiful part of the series, the graphics are also well made, the game optimization is also at a high level, I really want to believe that it is not the last.

As for the game's rating, it was only a little short of the maximum. 9.7 out of 10, and all because of the short (in my opinion) storyline and that’s all.

This is the very case when the game was not very interesting for its story or the characters involved in it, but more than compensated for its shortcomings with excellent gameplay. The combat system is executed simply perfectly: continuous action, well-staged battles and high dynamics make the game unforgettable. At first, a large number of different modes, in addition to the plot itself, seemed like a suitcase without a handle, which is not really needed, but very soon the opinion changes dramatically. MP3 is great for its gameplay and atmosphere. What can turn you away from such a game is truly a mystery, because even outright corridors do not spoil the impressions.

The game is recommended to absolutely everyone: from fans of the first two parts to the most ordinary gamers.
