MechWarrior Tactics — The game pits 2 players against each other in a turn-based online match. Turn-based combat was presented in an isometric 3D perspective, and the playing area was divided into a hexagonal grid. Each player had control of four separate BattleMechs, to which they issue separate movement and combat commands that their opponent cannot see. Moving 'Mechs onto specific tiles representing forests, hills, or bodies of water provides combat advantages and disadvantages, making skillful maneuvering of units an important aspect of the game.
