Midnight Club: Los Angeles is an arcade racing game made in three-dimensional graphics. Like previous parts of the series, the game is dedicated to street racing. The action takes place in the city of Los Angeles, where freedom of movement is granted. Cars drive along the roads, and pedestrians walk along the sidewalks, who, when trying to hit them, run away to the side. There is a dynamic change in time of day and weather conditions.
In addition, in the city you can find yellow barrels with the Rockstar logo, collecting every 10 of which (there are 60 such barrels hidden throughout the city) allows you to unlock a certain cheat code (for example, endless nitro or the absence of police patrol cars); however, activating the latter disables saving game progress. During the passage, the player is awarded reputation points, the number of which determines the conditional level of skills, and also gives access to new vehicles and spare parts for them.
