I'm a longtime MK fan. I was really looking forward to the release of the new version. The result was MK12, a direct continuation of the previous part. It's hard to call it a restart. The multiverse is a mess. The cameo system ruined everything, breaking the integrity and individuality of each character and as a result there was such a mess on the screen with additional non-fighters jumping out. The graphics are good, yes. Combat has been improved. It’s a pity they spoiled the fighters I expected - Rein, making him Gandalf, Tanya - turning her into Wakanda, Reptile - now neither a person nor a reptile, but just like that, piece by piece, because they could have just made 2 separate modes for him, like for Shan Zuna. The rest are done quite well. The Invasion mode is very creepy, it would be better to leave the Crypt. Beloved and long-awaited cyborgs were turned into girls in vain.
Я давний фанат МК. Очень ждал выхода новой версии. В итоге получилась МК12, прямое продолжение прошлой части. Сложно это назвать перезапуском. Бардак с мультивселенной. Камео система всё испоганила, сломав целостность и индивидуальность каждого персонажа и в итоге на экране такой бардак с дополнительно выпрыгивающими недобойцами. Графика хорошая, да. Боевка улучшена. Жаль только испортили ожидаемых мною бойцов — Рейна, сделав из него Гендальфа, Таню — превратив ее в Ваканду, Рептилию — теперь ни человек, ни рептилия, а так, по кусочку, ведь могли бы просто сделать 2 раздельных режима для него, как для Шан Цзуна. Остальные проработаны вполне неплохо. Режим Вторжения очень стремный, лучше б оставили Крипту. Любимых и долгожданных киборгов зря превратили в девушек.

The plot is not bad, but expectations were higher; graphically it is not particularly different from the game of its predecessor.

They threw in some lousy fighters, some kind of multiverse-dwelling bastard. Cyborgs are now women, the sound effects are lame, there's no blood anymore but some ridiculous lighting effects. Накидали левых бойцов, какого-то чёрта из мультивселенной. Киборги теперь бабы, дырявые звуковые эффекты, теперь не кровь а какие-то нелепые световые представления. Испортили всё, что можно. Mortal Kombat is a childhood game, a very interesting story of the characters and an excellent fighting game, which is very interesting to play with friends, I recommend it to everyone!

A glossy and sterile fighting game, weighing in at a cosmic 150 gigabytes just so you can watch a lively, story-driven movie for one evening, yawn, and go delete this bloated garbage from your hard drive. The pompous reboot of the universe quickly descends into lazy Marvel-esque multiverses, packaged in a stuffy narrative, where classic female characters are carefully veiled, forcing players to endlessly admire the bare abs of men. The basic brawling seems to work well, but it's completely ruined by the questionable cameo mechanics of assistants, turning a competitive fighting game into a chaotic lottery where balance depends on the right combination, not on your personal skill. глянцевый и стерильный файтинг полуфабрикат, который весит космические полтораста гигабайт чисто ради того, чтобы ты посмотрел бодрое сюжетное кинцо на один вечер, зевнул и пошел удалять этот раздутый мусор с жесткого диска. помпезная перезагрузка вселенной быстро скатывается в ленивую марвеловщину с мультивселенными, упакованную в душную повестку, где классических женских персонажей старательно закутали в паранджу, зато заставили игроков бесконечно любоваться голыми прессами мужиков.
