Observer is an adventure with horror elements and a first-person view in a cyberpunk style from the creators of Layers of Fear. The game takes place in 2084 in a dystopian future where everything is controlled by oppressive corporations. You will take on the role of Dan, who is a member of a special police unit funded by the Observer corporation. After receiving cryptic messages from his son, Dan plunges into the seedy underbelly of the city, where psychedelia borders on horror, madness and psychological distress.
As an Observer, you have access to a set of augmentations that allow you to hack the minds of both criminals and victims, and see things in an altered perception. This will allow you to collect information or make your way to it: when you penetrate someone's mind, you will see what its owner saw and live that moment according to his feelings.

Reviews and ratings
The game has an unparalleled visual style and deep atmosphere. At the same time, it accelerates extremely slowly, so for the first 1.5-2 hours you will need to watch an interesting interactive movie with inserts of simple puzzles. But when the gameplay picks up speed, it becomes truly creepy. The graphics are nice, the sounds are rich - everything is done in such a way as to tense the player at the right moment.
Facial animation lags a little behind the overall quality of the picture, but you don’t pay attention to it. Oldfags may be pleased to see retired Rutger Hauer in the game.
