What can I say? This is, perhaps, one of the best Russian games, quests in particular, ever released in the vastness of our homeland, despite the fact that the game itself gave off a fair smell of vulgarity and extraordinary humor. But this very humor was so close and understandable to native speakers of the Russian language and culture. The love and titanic work put into this project by the long-deceased development team could not help but leave a deep furrow in the fields of Russian game development and in the hearts of many compatriots. It is no secret to many that Soyuzmulfilm also had a hand in the production of this amazing, fun and exciting game about the everyday life of heroes from the famous series of jokes. The graphics are stunning - beautifully rendered backgrounds, brilliant animation and, of course, voice acting. Some quests will force you to sweat a lot and show great observation, or at least the patience with which you will have to point all the objects at everything, looking for a suitable option for further advancement. I played the game back in 1999 on a three-disc edition that my friend lent me. Then I couldn’t complete it - I screwed up on the spot with the bank and the ants in the second chapter of the game. I was able to fully master it much later, when the game appeared again on some collection of quests. I still have warm memories of it, which prompted me to buy the first two framed parts on Steam, which I now replay with great pleasure. I don’t recognize the other released games in the series, because the art has become different, and the jokes are stupider.
