A small mod that replaces the textures of the Zombie Dancer and Backup Dancer with older versions. The old version of the Zombie Dancer was entirely based on Michael Jackson from the "Thriller" music video. Just like in the video, Zombie Jackson is dressed in a red jacket, under which a white t-shirt is visible, in red pants, white socks, and brown shoes, with a white glove on his left hand. After Michael Jackson's death, the developers had to modify the Zombie Dancer, as the late star's relatives filed a lawsuit against PopCap Games for copyright infringement. Ultimately, the developers removed Zombie Jackson from the game but took a risky path again by replacing his version with Disco Zombie, which closely resembles Disco Stu from The Simpsons. Fortunately for PopCap Games, Matt Groening did not sue them.

The mod consists of two archives [Disco Version.rar] and [Jackson version.rar].

1) [Jackson version.rar] contains textures and animations of the old versions, with two folders inside:

[Michael Jackson] — Replaces the Zombie Dancer with the old version
[Jackson dancer] — Replaces the Backup Dancer with the old version

2) [Disco Version.rar] contains textures and animations of the new versions (needed for mod removal), with two folders inside:

[Disco Stu] — Contains files of the new version of the Zombie Dancer
[Disco dancer] — Contains files of the new version of the Backup Dancer

I specifically separated the mod into individual files for the Zombie Dancer and Backup Dancer, in case you want to mix old versions with new ones (personally, I prefer to combine the old Backup Dancers with the new Zombie Dancer).

Instructions:

*Note: Before installing the mod, you will need the Popcap Pack Utility to unpack the game archive files [main.pak] of the game "Plants Vs Zombies". You can play with unpacked resources, but you will need to delete the file [main.pak] and extract all the unpacked game files from the [main] folder (which will appear after unpacking the files) into the directory with the installed game.
Installation: After unpacking the game files from the archive [Jackson version.rar], choose the folder (folder [Michael Jackson] — replaces the Zombie Dancer, folder [Jackson dancer] — replaces the Backup Dancer) and extract the contents of the desired folder into the directory with the installed game, confirming file replacements.
Removal: To uninstall the mod and restore the original textures, choose the folder from the archive [DiscoVersion.rar] (folder [Disco Stu] — returns the Zombie Dancer, folder [Disco dancer] — returns the Backup Dancer) and extract the contents of the desired folder into the directory with the installed game, confirming file replacements.

Зомби Джексон

Небольшой мод, который заменяет текстуры Зомби-танцора и Подтанцовщика на старые версии. Старая версия Зомби-танцора была полностью срисована с Майкла Джексона из клипа «Триллер». Так же как и в клипе, Зомби Джексон одет в красную куртку, под которой видно белую футболку, в красные штаны, в белые носки, в коричневые ботинки, на левую руку надета белая перчатка. После смерти Майкла Джексона разработчикам пришлось видоизменить Зомби-танцора, так как родственники покойного обратились в суд с иском на компанию PopCap Games о нарушении их авторских прав. В конечном итоге разработчики убрали Зомби-Джексона из игры, но снова пошли по опасной дороге и заменили его версию на Диско Зомби, очень сильно напоминающего Диско Стю из сериала Симпсоны. К счастью для PopCap Games Мэтт Гроунинг не стал подавать на них в суд.

Мод состоит из двух архивов [Disco Version.rar] и [Jackson version.rar].

1) [Jackson version.rar] Содержит текстуры и анимации старых версий, в нём находится две папки:

[Michael Jackson] — Заменяет Зомби-танцора на старую версию
[Jackson dancer] — Заменяет Подтанцовщика на старую версию

2) [Disco Version.rar] Содержит текстуры и анимации новых версий (необходим для удаления мода), в нём также находится две папки:

[Disco Stu] — Содержит файлы новой версии Зомби-танцора
[Disco dancer] — Содержит файлы новой версии Подтанцовщика

Я специально разделила мод на отдельные файлы для Зомби-танцора и Подтанцовщика, на случай если вы захотите сочетать старые версии с новыми (лично мне больше всего нравится сочетать старых Подтанцовщиков с новым Зомби-танцором).

Инструкция:

*Примечание: прежде чем устанавливать мод вам понадобится Утилита Popcap Pack чтобы распаковать файлы игрового архива [main.pak] игры "Plants Vs Zombies". Играть можно с распакованными ресурсами, но будет необходимо удалить файл [main.pak], и извлечь все разархивированные игровые файлы из папки [main] (которая появится после распаковки файлов) в директорию с установленной игрой.
Установка: После того как вы распакуете файлы игры, из архива [Jackson version.rar] выберите папку (папка [Michael Jackson] — заменяет Зомби-танцора, папка [Jackson dancer] — заменяет Подтанцовщика) содержимое нужной папки извлеките в директорию с установленной игрой, с подтверждением замены файлов.
Удаление: Чтобы удалить мод и вернуть исходные текстуры, из архива [DiscoVersion.rar] выберите папку (папка [Disco Stu] - возвращает Зомби-танцора, папка [Disco dancer] — возвращает Подтанцовщика) содержимое нужной папки извлеките в директорию с установленной игрой, с подтверждением замены файлов.
