My first and perhaps only mod for Plants vs. Zombies is called "Mega Hard". As the name suggests, it is designed to make the game more challenging.

This mod has several variants of some zombies, as well as modified plants and zombies. The game design as a whole has been almost completely redesigned. For example, a zombie with a box first appears at levels 2-8, and a dancer first appears at levels 2-6.

Plants have also been changed. For example, a mine appears only after levels 1-2, and a cherry only after levels 1-8.

In addition, Dave's unique dialogues have appeared in the mod. If a modified plant is given, the word "MODIFIED" will be written in its English description. The description will also indicate exactly what changes were made to the plant.

All information about plants and zombies is available in the Almanac.

But the most important feature of the mod is the modified Puzzles, including “I'm a Zombie”. In this mode, the levels were completely redone, and zombies were added that were not in the original: Zomboni, a newsboy and a zombie on a catapult.

Puzzles:

In this mod, the “Wazaboy” and “I, Zombie” puzzles have been completely changed. They have become more complex and fun, and you can see some of them in the screenshots.

Please note that in this mod, zombies with a ladder can install a ladder on garlic and chomper. Additionally, those zombies that eat plants faster also eat sunflowers faster in I, Zombie. Accordingly, they produce fewer suns per sunflower. For example, ordinary zombies give 8 suns from one sunflower, which is 200 suns of currency. And those zombies who eat plants faster, produce only 3-4 suns from one sunflower, which is 75-100 suns of currency.
