Policenauts

Policenauts — adventure shooter in the futuristic genre. In 2013, Los Angeles Police Department officer Jonathan Ingram (Hideyuki Tanaka) was one of five "cops", police officers trained as astronauts to protect Beyond Coast, the world's first functioning autonomous space colony. While testing a new spacesuit, an accident blows Jonathan into space, presumed dead by his colleagues. In fact, he was preserved by the cryogenic survival system in his spacesuit, and 25 years later he is found and revived. During this time, Beyond Coast became the primary location for the development of potential interstellar travel and is protected by a special police force called the Beyond Coast Police Department (BCPD).
