Valve managed to create a truly interesting game in the Puzzle genre, combining both a good plot, excellent physics and atypical gameplay, and at times a funny and sarcastic game for the first-person fan. Portal often forces the player to really use his brain, and you are only happy to enjoy this seemingly simple, but very addictive game. Even though it came out in 2007, I still didn’t find anything as interesting and well-developed as Portal. Of course, with the exception of part 2 (which I think is better than the first), but more on that another time.

I became familiar with the Portal a long time ago, but then I couldn’t get to the end. But the day before yesterday, thanks to discounts on Steam, I bought it for 12 hryvnia, and completed it in 2 hours. This time I was very surprised that the game turned out to be very simple. But despite this, I really liked everything.

In the first half, she teaches you how to use portals and the game's physics, and then puts you in a non-standard environment so that you use your knowledge and logic to solve non-standard problems. This approach is very engaging, so you don’t want to tear yourself away from the game.

This is simply a legend of the Puzzle genre. When it first appeared it was in incredible demand. And there was a reason for it! The plot, physics - all these are big big advantages in this game. I recommend downloading for puzzle lovers!

But initially it was just a modification before VALVE decided to help and took students from DigiPen into their team thanks to their development of Narbacular Drop, which was the beginning of the creation of the portal. It's longer than Narbacular Drop. It's an interesting puzzle with great humor. Not a bad plot and good physics. And it is very addictive with its pleasant gameplay. Who would have thought that it could still be made better. Before the release of Portal 2, but this is another no less interesting story. Well, in this part, the Russian localization sounds very monotonous. Despite the fact that the original was voiced by one girl, she tried to make the characters unique and it turned out well. Our localization sounds the same and could not achieve the same. But even this became better in second part.

I don’t like puzzles, sitting for 3 hours and trying to figure out “what to do??” like an idiot. Portal is something different, firstly, Portal is not too easy, but not too difficult either, I didn’t get stuck at various points for long. The portal gun is already a legend, despite the fact that you can complete levels in a certain way, the portal gun creates a feeling of a sandbox (Well, who hasn’t put one portal on top of another and jumped into it)) Portal has an interesting and mysterious plot, which is also intriguing. Portal is a unique puzzle game that I recommend to everyone.
