Of all the car simulator games I've tried, Project CARS is definitely the best one I've played.

For the graphics in this game, the same graphics engine from NFS Shift is responsible - “Madness”, which has been slightly redesigned and improved. In principle, the picture turned out to be very beautiful and realistic. The game offers a fully dynamic system of changing days and weather conditions; The implementation of rain here is done at the highest level, every drop looks very beautiful and naturalistic. The detailing of the cars is truly impressive; I have never seen such well-designed models in any game. The surroundings also look decent. The optimization is done simply superbly.

This game features over 70 cars, over 25 existing and several fictional tracks.

The game evokes different impressions, namely, the highest graphics of both cars and race tracks are very pleasing, but this is where the euphoria ends and “everyday life” begins. We can say that there is no storyline (there is a career and that’s it), the menu design and navigation in it are done simply terribly, the game is well adapted for steering wheels and pedals, but it seems to have been forgotten for keyboards and gamepads. Finally, one more fly in the ointment - the game is designed for first-person gameplay only. As a result, we have a beautiful racing simulator that is very boring and inconvenient.

Based on all of the above, I would like to give it a 3, but the situation is pulled out by the graphics, which are simply wonderful, which is why the final rating is 6.7
