I recommend the game for purchase, but only at a discount. You can complete the story in about 8 hours in Leon’s branch, but for Claire it was even faster. Fully conveyed the spirit of the original in a modern twist. Overall the game is excellent, very atmospheric and great graphics.

There are so few good games and distinguishing good from bad (not interesting) is not so difficult. I forgot the last time I completed a game. I enjoyed this one, it's a good game for me.

The game is simply amazing. Best remake I've ever seen. The gameplay has changed completely compared to the original, but it feels exactly the same. The graphics are top notch, everything looks great. About the plot, I can say that RE is not about the plot at all.

I beat the game three times almost at release and was completely satisfied. On my GTX 650 Ti it produced 40-60 FPS and at the same time did not have crashes and graphics that would melt my eyes (on the contrary, the graphics were still great and the screen was not covered with ladders and pixels 24/7).

There are riddles, not that they are easy, but I wouldn’t call them difficult either (with the exception of Claire B’s fuses, and maybe Leon B’s, that was great).

Localization was lame a couple of times, although maybe I’m confusing something, but I’m still sure that the errors were noticeable.

This game was the fourth in the series that I played through. If I knew in what order I had to play, I would have started with it. She essentially started the franchise and made it what we know it today. It began a long but fascinating storyline between Leon and Claire. It gave me unforgettable emotions after the first playthrough and to this day I consider it one of my favorite games. Judge for yourself. The graphics in it are excellent. The plot is incredible. The gameplay is top notch. The characters are written well. The riddles in it are interesting, not very complicated, but it would be hard to call them simple. Plus the Tyrant, who could appear anywhere and cause trouble.

An excellent remake that did not spoil the original game, but also breathed new life into it. The main advantage of the game is that this is that small percentage of horror games that scare not with monotonous jump scares, but with the atmosphere itself.

Simply amazing remake of a cult game

The game is good as a horror game, good as a survival horror game, but the plot let us down. Especially the disjointed plots between scenarios A and B. Birkin falls down? But he went up... On the elevator? How? It doesn’t matter, we won’t explain it. I can accept the fact that there are two Tyrants in the game, but it still sounds stupid that after the Tyrant DIES in Claire's scenario, he fights Leon like a boss...almost intact. The additional modes are fun. They give a challenge. Some were very difficult for me personally, because they did not suit my playing style at all. In general, the game is very good, not counting the strange plot, which seems to be the mainstay of such a game.

A brilliant remake of a good, but not perfect game from 1998. The remake has improved almost all parameters! The plot has not changed, but the locations have become creepier, the puzzles are more interesting and confusing, constant tension haunts the player, but the main feature is the vile and creepy monsters and bosses. Once completed, Tyrant T-103 will haunt your nightmares, and William Birkin's various mutations will make you look at meat differently. In general, this game is a must-play for all horror fans, and not only! (I forgot to mention the ost, in this game it is simply beautiful)
