Resident evil 7 was a great reboot of the series. Here begins a completely new story with new characters, infection and enemies, in which there is practically nothing familiar from the previous parts, with the exception of Easter eggs and the appearance of the good old hero at the end of the game (I'm talking about Chris). It's unusual that the game was made in first person, although the cutscenes were always in third person. In addition, there is more horror than action here, which is undoubtedly cool, since resident evil was originally a survival horror game, but gradually turned into an action shooter. The gloomy atmosphere and suspenseful soundtrack make you completely immerse yourself in the game and experience fear. By the way, there are even some scary moments here that do the job w… Read full

The game is quite hardcore and scary, what can I say, one guy with a chainsaw scared me when I accidentally climbed onto him. I completed it to the end, even if in agony and suffering, in a couple of weeks, since I didn’t really want to return to it after 10 hours of gameplay. As a horror game it will do, but if you want to kill time, choose another game of this genre

Well what can I say. The game is cool. It’s as similar as possible to the first part, I don’t know why they’re shouting about Outlast here and there.

It doesn’t really shine in terms of history, but Kamon, the reziki never had good plots, they always blew away the gameplay and atmosphere (well, except for 5 and 6, everything is bad there). Nice picture, moving to a new camera was only beneficial (a plus for immersiveness).

It was disappointing that there were few puzzles (there were only a few identical riddles of the “twist the figure” type, well)

Stuffy fights with bosses, except for the first one, perhaps. , but it was only boring here)

On the plus side:

+ The plot has moved away from category G films, although it is rather weak, it is already better than before.

+ Lucas

+ Locality of events

Thanks to Capcom for the new Outlast

The announcement of the seventh serialized part was very unexpected at the time. The game didn't look too similar to any previous games. Some family of crazy people in some old house, some story about rescuing a wife from some sect. Where are the zombies? Where are the Umbrella viruses? Where are disasters on an apocalyptic scale and endless action like in Six?

But everything falls into place when the gameplay begins, during which you just want to periodically say, “Yes, damn it, this is the same Survival and the same Horror as it was in the first parts.” Instead of a mansion there is now a big house, instead of a pursuing Tyrant there is an indestructible Jack Baker, and episodes with chases. And despite the fact that the game is very similar in visuals … Read full

Among the main RE games, RE7 (but also 8) is perhaps the most atypical. The earlier parts of RE were mostly action in a horror shell, but here we have Outlast with guns.

In general, I am a person who is not afraid of horror games, RE7 was no exception for me. However, I still really liked the gameplay, plot and atmosphere of the game. I am enraged and at the same time delighted by the hitbox of enemies, the hitbox is clearly proportional to the enemy model, and the cartridges fly exactly across the sight, which is why at first the shooting infuriated me, and then... then it also infuriated me, but I accepted what this realism gives a challenge that games had never given me before, because “how is that possible? Do you really have to aim in a shooter??” I don’t like puzzles that leave you st… Read full
