Everyone calls Rust a hybrid of DayZ and Minecraft, and this is partly true. Here, too, you need to survive, look for useful things, build shelters, extract resources, kill pigs and get from them... chicken. The player appears completely naked, carrying a stone, bandages and a torch. Next comes the development to an axe, a bow, a pistol, a machine gun, and the construction of a wooden or iron house around oneself.
The map is too small, it’s hard to build something original, because there are only square walls and floors. You can lose all your possessions in a couple of minutes if you are unlucky enough to meet a couple of people in black suits. I haven’t met the cheaters that most players complain about—probably lucky.
The game so far (beginning of 2014) does not shine with variety, but, according to the developers (their main one, by the way, is the creator of the famous Garry's Mod), the game is 10% ready and everything is still ahead, so it's worth waiting for it It should turn out to be something very worthwhile.
