Rome will fall, but not today

Recently, the themes of modernity and science fiction have been popular. A couple of years ago, the theme of the Second World War was popular, and the Middle Ages are only now gaining popularity, but the era of antiquity has been undeservedly forgotten. One of Ruse Son of Rome is just such a game.

Many people have heard about such an ancient state as the Roman Empire, and when we hear the word legion, we imagine highly disciplined and well-trained soldiers. Usually we were only given command of legions, in the strategies of the Total War series of games. But sometimes we really wanted to pick up gladius and scutum (shield) and fight face to face with bloodthirsty barbarians who know no fear. Well, if you haven’t played this game, then you have a great opportu… Read full

It’s a pity that Kraytek was dissolved by more than half. And in this case, I blame the developers for NOT implementing good protection in this game. The game turned out great. Rome is hungry for bread and circuses - this game has plenty of spectacles. Playing as some kind of general (I don’t remember his name) you will chop the barvors into guts. I really liked the finishing animations in the game.

PROS:

- Excellent graphics. The guys from Kraytek know how to do beautiful things - remember any part of Krayzis.

- Cool finishing moves on enemies, various combos.

- The game is enough for more than one evening, I recommend it to all fans of the Witcher and games like the Witcher.

DISADVANTAGES:

- 30 FPS maximum

- sometimes freezes and slows down despite the fact that my computer is far from great

As always, Kraytek made a tech demo, not a game.

Graphon - there is a very decent one. Some scenes are really pleasing to the eye, everything is at the highest level, that’s what Krytek can do.

Gameplay - the first hour is quite fun, but after that you get bored, because the linearity here is simply incredible - the game constantly takes control, brings the hero to the right place (to the next arena with a bunch of NPCs), and then allows the player to fight . Sometimes, however, we are given the choice of where to turn and who to put where (in rare moments of defense organization), but this does not affect anything, and it is not clear why this was done.

The takedowns are very impressive, but the animations can be counted on one hand, so very soon you stop admiring them, plus, if you press th… Read full
