Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is a fan-made collection that includes updated classic parts of the series: Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. The game is compatible with modern operating systems and new version shaders, there is support for cloud saves and other Steamworks functionality. The matter is not limited to the content of Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. The independent studio Alligator Pit created new levels specifically for the game.

For those who don’t know, Revolution is the same classic Sam, but with the support of a modern hardware engine. In fact, this is where the differences between the classics and this part end. Yes, you can change the interface, but it doesn't matter. Noteworthy features include changing the rate of fire, the number of rounds and the number of monsters. Here's something that can really have a little fun. And again, the engine at times simply cannot cope with such hordes of monsters.
The author of this (remake?) promised to make a new campaign, but since the release of the game into early access (I note that this was already a very long time ago) nothing has been heard about it. And yes, the game is still in early access.

Для тех кто не знает — Revolution, это все тот же классический Сэм, но с поддержкой движка современного железа. По сути, на этом различия классики и этой части заканчиваются. Да, можно изменить интерфейс, но роли это не играет. Внимание заслуживают такие фишки как изменение скорости стрельбы, кол-ва патронов и кол-ва монстров. Вот что действительно может немного повеселить. И опять же, движок временами просто не справляется с такими ордами монстров.
Автор данного (ремейка?) обещал сделать новую кампанию, но с момента выхода игры в ранний доступ (подмечу что было это уже О-о-о-очень давно) ничего о ней так и не слышно. И да, игра до сих пор находится в раннем доступе.
