Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun — Aiko's Choice is a standalone add-on for a tactical real-time strategy with stealth elements and an isometric camera view Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. The events will tell the story of one of the main characters of the original game — kunoichi Aiko. The heroine is a master of disguise and can deceive opponents by pretending to be a geisha. She was sure that she had left the past behind, but everything changed when she had a new enemy connected to her former life. Together with a squad of her best assassins, Aiko went hunting for the ghosts of the past.

The game is not DLC for the original, and certainly not a sequel. The game has nothing new compared to the original - and that's good.
As the developers noted, you will first need to play the original to understand what's what.
