Games Shift 2: Unleashed All reviews Review from IvanM1996

This game is the next brainchild of the company "Slighty Mad Studios", which has long been known for its projects such as GTR, GTR2, NFS: Shift, Project CARS and many others. In other words, this development team specializes in developing racing simulators.

They released for us not a sequel, but a completely new game with much more interesting gameplay. Naturally, the main part remains from the first part: the view from the cockpit (by the way, a new one has been added), as in the first part; cars, among which many new ones appeared (as well as additional cars with DLC); car tuning options were expanded; the number of tracks has been increased; AutoLog, a multi-user system that compares records and more, smoothly migrated to this part; New modes have been added, such as "Drag" and "Measured Mile".

It is also worth noting the soundtrack - in my opinion, there are much fewer compositions than in the first part, however, in my opinion, in S2U it was chosen very competently. As for the career mode, there are few differences: you are given a good Nissan GT-R R35 car, which you have to drive 2 times: the first to adjust the car’s handling (in a word - are you a pro, an amateur or a beginner), and the second to adjust the difficulty rivals.

So you buy your own car, participate in races, upgrade it, receive prizes, and open new competitions. What personally pleased me is that everything is clearly explained in the game, so even a beginner can easily figure out this game in a fairly short time.

One more thing - drift, in my opinion, has been made less hardcore than in the first part: now on the “Pro” difficulty on the keyboard you can perform a pretty good drift.

But your main goal is the GT3 championship, and then GT1 - the dream of any player who has completed absolutely everything up to this point.
