About the Game

Sid Meier's Starships is a global tactical strategy with turn-based battles in a sci-fi setting. Your subordinates are an entire nation that is just beginning space expansion. There is one planet and a couple of seedy ships, with the help of which you will have to achieve superiority and gain power over the entire space sector. To do this, you need to wage wars, extract resources and create cities on the planets under your control. In the space sector there are a dozen independent planets, as well as the planets of your competitors in the conquest of deep space. With independent worlds, everything is simple: each of them is ready to accept your power as soon as you complete some special task: save a huge colony ship or destroy a pirate fleet. Competitive planets present a much more difficult obstacle: your enemies can organize defense there, and the enemy’s own fleet is not asleep and will always come to the rescue.
