The enemies are not meticulous bastards, as in the first parts of Resident, but completely killable parasites. The combat was also very convenient for those times, but it was impossible to play on a keyboard, only on a gamepad.
The plot is better than in the second part, where the hero is a psychopath who is looking for the wife whom he killed. Here the hero is an adequate peasant who is looking for his daughter, who becomes part of a terrible ritual.
This game will scare you from the very beginning until the credits roll. This fog, these ominous streets, terrible mutant dogs.
A huge amount of hidden, or rather inconspicuous, content.
At the start, the game destroyed Resident Evil, but unfortunately, later the series died, and the resident was able to get out of his dying state.
Silent Hill to this day attracts many players, because not a single horror game has yet managed to repeat, much less increase, that facet of horror and “quiet madness” that happens in the first and second parts of the series of games " Quiet Hill."
