Soldier of Fortune: Payback is a linear first-person shooter with traditional gameplay for the genre, designed for both single-player and multiplayer games. The single player mode is presented in the form of a campaign with 14 missions. The player moves through the levels, completing tasks, and along the way destroying large numbers of enemies. There are no vehicles in the game. Before missions, the player can choose a variety of weapons and grenades. After each completed task, new equipment is unlocked in the arsenal. A special feature of the game is “dismemberment”: the player can use shots from weapons and explosive grenades to dismember the bodies of enemies into separate parts.

I don’t know why most people hate it, but as for me, the game is quite good. Yes, this is not BF or even CoD, but it’s quite interesting to shoot. We are offered a number of tasks in which we fight terrorists. There is a good arsenal from grenades to machine guns. And there is dismemberment. This is exactly why I like the game. It is also quite complex; I remember how I got stuck somewhere and couldn’t find a way out. The AI in the game is not particularly smart, but it is impressive in numbers. Overall 7.5/10 for this. You can still play.
Не знаю почему ее большинство ненавидит, но как по мне, — игра вполне себе неплохая. Да это не BF и даже не CoD, но пострелять довольно интересно. Нам предлагается ряд заданий, в которых мы боремся с террористами. Есть неплохой арсенал от гранат до пулеметов. И есть расчлененка. Вот как раз за это мне игра и нравится. Еще она вполне сложна; помню как я застрял хрен пойми где и не мог найти выход. ИИ в игре не особо умный, но берет количеством. За все за это 7,5/10. Все таки поиграть можно.
Soldier of Fortune: Payback is an average game. It has good graphics, realistic physics, and an interesting plot. The whole impression of the game is spoiled by bugs; there are a lot of them in the game. In my opinion, the previous parts were better.
Soldier of Fortune: Payback средняя игра. В ней хорошая графика, реалистичная физика, интересный сюжет. Все впечатление от игры портят баги их в игре немало. На мой взгляд предыдущие части были лучше.
