Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones is an isometric horror RPG with turn-based combat that will take you to eerie worlds based on the stories of writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft. The plot will tell about the end of the world, black magic and powerful forces. You will face battles with terrible monsters, as well as choices that will affect your character development and ending.

The game is quite difficult. I would even say that it is quite difficult for today's gamers. Because the training is almost incomprehensible for a beginner, no one leads by the hand, you have to find out the plot yourself. What about the fights? This is a kick-ass. Step-by-step battles, when you can’t really do anything and die before your turn comes.
But, quite interesting and exciting. The world is quite dark, the stories are interesting, but you have to run around a lot and think through your steps. You should be prepared for unexpected moments and battles, do not forget about accommodation and food, and also about medicines.
Well, we also need to think about the satellite and include it in the calculations.
In general, I'll play for now, and then maybe I'll change my review. The first impression is interesting, but difficult.
Игра довольно сложная. Я бы даже сказала, что она довольно сложная для нынешних геймеров. Потому что обучение для новичка почти не понятно, за ручку никто не водит, сюжет надо узнавать самому. А бои? Это же пипец. Шаговые бои, когда ты ничего не можешь сделать толком и гибнешь до того, как до тебя ход дойдет.
Но, довольно интересно и увлекательно. Мир довольно темный, истории занятные, но надо много бегать и продумывать шаги. Стоит быть готовым к неожиданным моментам и боям, не забывать о ночлеге и пище, а еще о лекарствах.
Ну и о спутнике тоже надо думать и включать в расчёты.
В общем, пока еще поиграю, а потом, может, сменю отзыв. Первое впечатление — интересно, но сложно.
