Super Mario Sunshine — the game takes place on the tropical resort of Isle Delfino, which is inhabited by the Pianta and Noki races, has the shape of a dolphin and consists of ten main locations. The central location of Delfino Island is Delfino Plaza, which is the largest city and the main gaming hub.
Mario, along with Princess Peach, her steward Toadsworth and several other Toads, go on vacation to Isle Delfino. After the plane crash lands on the runway, the heroes discover that the entire island has been covered in graffiti, causing the sun-shaped objects called "Shiny Sprites", which are the island's source of energy, to disappear and the resort to be plunged into eternal darkness.
