The gray skull is like the player's house. To get there, use the Orb in the cave to find yourself in the maze. All containers are safe in the cave, such as barrels and crates. There is a 2nd ball in the cave that is locked, this will be your easy way in and out of the gray skull once a spell is used to unlock it (The key is the note next to the 2nd ball on the other side of the room, it's in the glass case locked) .
