Well, the last adventure of Geralt of Rivia has come to an end. We are sorry to realize all this. But maybe this is for the best? In the sense that it is better to end on a good note than to create a new part that will not live up to all expectations, but It’s not for me to judge, these are just speculations. I would like to quote the name of the last quest from the main part: SOMETHING ENDS, SOMETHING BEGINS. Okay, now let’s talk about the addition itself.

Each name, be it: wild hunt or hearts of stone, does not contain a semantic meaning, and during the course of the plot we understand why it is called “Blood and Wine” and what combination of words. You can understand what the word “wine” has to do with it in the first minutes of my stay in Toussaint, but for me for a long time it remaine… Read full

So, CD Projekt RED crowned themselves with unprecedented success with the release of Wild Hunt, but is this the end? That's right, no! Shortly before the release of Wild Hunt, CD Projekt RED announced Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, expansion packs designed to expand Geralt's adventures. Now we will talk about “Blood and Wine”.

The addition was released on May 31, 2016 and is also paid. Its passage can be started independently of the main plot, that is, completed after the completion of the main plot or separately from the menu. Or you can even do it in parallel with the main plot, having previously upgraded Geralt. This is possible due to the fact that the add-on is implemented as a separate quest chain.

And again, as usual, we take an order from the notice board and go to the call … Read full

Hell, I can't even call it an add-on. Blood and Wine is a full-fledged game with its own plot and territory. A bunch of new characters and some new gameplay features. Think about it, a DLC that takes at least 20-25 hours to complete. I spent a little more than 30 hours there. CDPR are very cool guys, and I'm looking forward to their next project, Cyberpunk 2077. Well, I'll have to say goodbye to Geralt in video games.

While some companies create DLC and call them full-fledged games, another company creates full-fledged games and calls them DLC. Thank you CD PROJEKT.
