Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree reveals a double reference to Sekiro
FromSoftware didn't miss the opportunity to leave Easter eggs for its previous projects in addition to Elden Ring. Players have discovered one such reference reminiscent of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. There are spoilers below!
A user with the nickname anyfriend1 found one of the new types of Ashes of War called The Poison Flower Bloomes Twice. Besides the obvious reference in the name, the consumable gives an ability very similar to the Senpou Leaping Kicks skill from Sekiro.
You can get this ash from the body of Teardrop Scarab. It also allows you to hit enemies with scarlet rot and even explode.
Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree was released on June 21 on all platforms. The add-on was able to move The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine from the pedestal of the best DLC on Metacritic, but received a large number of devastating reviews on Steam.
