Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: 2011: Final Assault — in the single-player campaign, the player takes on the role of the leader of the Ghost Team, Captain Scott Mitchell; Mitchell is described as the "ultimate soldier", being a veteran of several armed conflicts and can use weapons from any class of soldier, including assault rifles, carbines, submachine guns, sniper rifles and more. In some missions, the player is inserted alone and must complete the mission without the help of other Ghosts. Such missions provide assistance in the form of airstrikes that the player can call in.
