Trine is a fantasy action game where the player can create and use physics-based objects to beat hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. Set in a world of great castles and strange machinery, three heroes are bound to a mysterious device called the Trine in a quest to save the kingdom from evil. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics - each character's different abilities help the player battle an army of undead and defeat hazardous contraptions. The player can at any time freely choose whoever is best suited for the upcoming challenge or puzzle: The Wizard is able to summon objects to help solve puzzles and create new ways to overcome obstacles, the Thief uses her agility and dead-on accuracy to swiftly surprise the monsters, and the Knight unleashes mayhem and physical destruction wherever he goes.Trine Enchanted Edition Trine Enchanted Edition is a remake of the original Trine with dazzling new visual effects and numerous gameplay improvements!

Trine (Original Version)

The original version also has some additional language subtitle options: Finnish, Turkish, Portuguese, Romanian in addition to those present in Trine Enchanted Edition (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish).

Surprising and touching.
I happened to go through the original Trine company back in 2010.
When assessing the final result of any action or product, I always rely on simple mathematics.
Variable X is my expectations. Y is the reality of perception.
If X < Y, то я удивлен и восхищен. В обратном случае, расстроен.
By that time, I received the game completely randomly, and I simply couldn’t expect anything from an action puzzle game.
So my surprise at the then new genre and the execution of the idea by the developers knew no bounds.
If you ask me to describe this toy now in a few words, I will say the following: simple, reliable, and very beautiful.
The only thing that is really missing is difficulties. During the whole game I never broke my brain. The puzzle genre still imposes some responsibilities on the authors.
At the time of playthrough, I was ready to give the toy 9.5/10

Удивляет и умиляет.
Случилось пройти оригинальную компанию Trine в уже далеком 2010 году.
Оценивая конечный итог какого-либо действия, или продукта, я всегда полагаюсь на простую математику.
Переменная Х — мои ожидания. Y — реальность восприятия.
Если Х < Y, то я удивлен и восхищен. В обратном случае, расстроен.
К тому моменту игру получил абсолютно случайным образом, и ждать чего-то от экшен-головоломки просто не мог.
Так что мое удивление новому на тот момент жанру и исполнению задумки разработчиками не было предела.
Если меня попросить описать эту игрушку сейчас в паре слов — скажу следующее: простая, надежная, и очень красивая.
Единственное, чего действительно не хватает — трудностей. За всю игру ни разу не поломал мозг. Жанр головоломки все-таки накладывает на авторов кое-какие обязанности.
На момент прохождения был готов выставить игрушке 9.5/10

You play as a team of a mage, a thief and a warrior, each of them has their own abilities. A mage creates objects, a swordsman has the power to drag heavy things, etc. The game has wonderfully designed locations and soundtrack

Trin is probably the most beautiful platformer of its time. The game follows the old Lost Vikings canon. But if there was a nimble, a warrior and a tank. Here we have the standard, mage, archer and warrior. But if the Vikings differed only in size and color, they had one common principle (Vikings after all). Here the characters clearly have different interests. The thief, so surprising, is driven more by a thirst for profit than by good intentions. The magician, for the benefit of science, is very curious about everything new. And the warrior, clearly yesterday's farmer, who has read heroic stories, runs in delirious fearlessness, thirsting for recognition and glory.

Трин, наверное самый красивый платформер своего времени . Игра следует старому канону Лост Викингс . Но если там был, шустряк, воин и танк . То здесь мы имеем стандарт, маг, лучник и воин. Но если викинги имели разницу только в размере и цветовой гамме , обладая одним общим началом ( викинги все же ) . То тут персонажи явно имеют разные интересы .Воровка , вот так удивление , ведома скорее жаждой наживи чем благими намерениями . Маг ,во благо науки, очень любопытен ко всему новому . А воин , явный вчерашний фермер , начитавшийся геройских историй бежит в бредовом бесстрашии , жаждя признания и славы .
Об атмосфере.
Игра очень атмосферна , все благодаря прекрасному визуалу и музыке . Она тут к слову прекрасна, наряду с закадровым голосом . 10 и 10.
