I can’t judge Tropico 6 as a continuation of the series, because I haven’t played the original part.

As a standalone game, Tropico 6 is a very beautiful and atmospheric strategy simulator. The graphics in the game look great, and the music introduces you to the atmosphere in a matter of seconds. You quickly get used to the game, it is not very difficult to understand and you can figure it out in a short time, after which you can play for fun

This is a classic example of how a strategy game should engage the player's attention. The balance between micromanagement and global planning is perfectly maintained. Resources are always slightly less than desired, forcing players to truly consider the consequences of every decision, rather than simply clicking icons.

Compared to previous series, Tropico 6 is very unfinished. I played Tropico 5 and 4, many gameplay mechanics were lost in part 6. Development of the characteristics of El Presidente and the system of the family of rulers.

Of the innovations, I noticed only a new system of islands, that is, a new map and a building system for it.

I played for 51 hours and I will say that the average fps is 40, with high settings. And not without crashes, especially the last one. I did the mission for a very long time. Departures occurred every hour, at the moments when autosaves occurred.

I wouldn’t recommend it to a beginner, only for fans of the series. And then I advise you to wait until the price of the game is lower, and perhaps they will finish it.
