Need for Speed in 2015, which was released without a subtitle, was a bastion of hope that the series would be revived and sparkle with new colors. Moreover, at that time, the only recent interesting projects were Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed: The Run. The latter was the first game in the series on the Frostbite engine. Only after The Run, the EA Blackbox studio sank into oblivion, and the following games were very so-so. 2012's Need for Speed: Most Wanteed was a copy of BurnOut: Paradyse with all the fun taken out of it, and GhostGames' first game, Need for Speed: Rivals, was, firstly, the second game in the series on Frostbite, and secondly, a rebuilt Hot Pursuit 2010. And after that, EA takes a break for 2 years, during which the “guests” assemble the new Need for Spe… Read full

I wanted it for a long time, but my iron didn’t allow it. But soon I finally updated myself and was able to complete it. The game brings enough pleasure. It carries within itself a certain spirit of bygone times, because it is similar to everyone’s favorite Underground. Maybe not as much as many would like. I was pleased with the tuning, although many of my favorite cars lacked visual tuning details, which was a little frustrating. The graphics here are top notch. The music, it seems to me, could have been chosen better. This one somehow doesn’t catch on, isn’t memorable, and isn’t much of it at all. Physics, in principle, as is customary in NFS, is of high quality and pleasant. The downside of the game is that it is quite demanding and not very well optimized. But overall, I don’t regret the purchase or the time I spent playing the game one bit.

With the appearance on Steam of new parts of Need for Speed, created over the last ten years, it was impossible not to be filled with enthusiasm: the beloved series was finally on the Orthodox platform. Even though I haven't touched it since Hot Pursuit 2010, I still followed the series and didn't lose sight of it. Although things weren’t going well for her, she still harbored hope that someday electronics would return to its roots. And now, in 2016, a new part is released without a subtitle, which looks very ambitious: declared as a re-imagining, again night rides, neon streets, nice graphics. I thought: well, finally, maybe a rethink will give some good result, return the series to its former greatness. But apparently our dreams will remain so, because in reality the restart is a low-gra… Read full

I played, and on Origin there was a 10-hour promo period in the full version of the game.

NFS was the first race, on my first computer. And for many years this was the main arcade racing series for me, but something went wrong. And in NFS 2015, this very promo period, I didn’t even finish playing, I think I still have 9 hours out of 10, it didn’t work for me that much, it’s boring.
