Watcher Chronicles is a hardcore side-scrolling action RPG platformer set in a dark fantasy setting. In the game you have to go to conquer purgatory, filled with nightmarish skeletons and ruthless bosses. In the game you will find unique weapons, including giant swords, staves with blades, scythes, polearms and much more to study and master. All weapon types have different movesets that completely change the gameplay. You'll also be able to discover 100 upgradeable armor, weapons, and rings to personalize your stack even further.

Reviews and ratings
Not a Metroidvania at all (no non-combat abilities, several keys, several NPC quests, and choose at forks a couple of times during the game in what order to complete the necessary ones). High difficulty platformer, action RPG and slasher. There are many bosses, simple builds, even some kind of quests (characters are encountered along the way with requests to save or defeat someone). If you like (or are at least loyal to) platformers and don't mind a complex slasher game, then playing is recommended.
Совсем не метроидвания (никаких вне боевых способностей, несколько ключей, несколько квестов нпс, и выборать на развилках пару раз за игру в какой последовательности проходить необходимое). Платформер с высокой сложностью, экшн рпг и слешер. Много боссов, простые билды, даже подобие квестов(персонажи встречаются походу прохождения с просьбами спасти или одолеть кого-то). Если вы любите (или хотя бы лояльны) платформеры и не против сложного слешера, то играть рекомендуется.
