XCOM: Chimera Squad is an independent spin-off of the tactical strategy XCOM 2, released in 2016. The game takes place 5 years after the events of the second part in City 31. Alien invaders still threaten the Earth, and to this end, the government has formed the Chimera squad, which includes 11 agents. Interestingly, among them are not only people, but also aliens.

I think in some ways this is the worst part of the XCOM series. I bought it purely out of respect for the game. Everything is tied to specific actions and the choice of fighters. Less freedom than in previous parts. And of course there was hope that they would make a continuation of the 2nd part, but alas. The game itself is great, but the experiment in terms of minimalist gameplay is not that great.
Думаю по некоторым вещам,это худшая часть серии XCOM. Купил её чисто из-за уважения к игре. Всё подвязано к конкретным действиям и выбору бойцов. Меньше свободы,нежели в прошлых частях. И конечно была надежда,что сделают продолжение 2й части,но увы. Сама игра отличная,но эксперимент в плане минимализма геймлея,не особо.
Quite an interesting decision in terms of the xcom series. Added new mechanics related to storming a building, a limited number of agents, and less protracted battles. The game is quite interesting, I recommend playing it.
Довольно интересное решение в плане серии xcom. Добавлены новые механики связанные со штурмом здания, ограниченное количество агентов, менее затяжные бои. Игра вполне интересная,советую поиграть.
