Fallout: London release delayed due to Fallout 4 next-gen update
One of the most anticipated modifications for Fallout 4 was supposed to be released on April 23, but the developers had to abandon this date. All because of the next-gen update of the main game, timed to coincide with the release of the series based on the Fallout universe.
Let us remind you that Bethesda has announced a large-scale free update for Fallout 4, which will be released on April 25. Two graphic modes will be added to the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, stability will be improved on previous generation consoles, bugs will be fixed, and some quests will be updated for the PC version.
According to the Fallout: London development team, the update may affect the F4SE script extender, which is used by thousands of mods.
«The last four years of our work have simply been destroyed,» Team FOLON said in a message to subscribers. The release of the modification had to be postponed indefinitely.
A large-scale fan addition was supposed to add a lot of content to Fallout 4 — a new large location, weapons, armor, quests, story and characters. It was recently announced that Neil Newbon, the voice of the vampire Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3, has joined the voice acting team.
The release of a series based on Fallout caused another problem — Fallout: New Vegas fans suspected the show of retconning the events of the game.
