An image of a new game from the Assassin's Creed creator has surfaced online
It seems that Patrice Desilets, the creator of Assassin's Creed and Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, may soon announce a new project. A visitor to the Reboot Develop conference shared on X (Twitter) that Desilets' studio, Panache Digital Games, also participated in the event and showed a brief teaser.
Details are scarce, but there is a photo of the game's startup screen. Judging by the gloomy atmosphere, Patrice Desilets might be returning to 1666: Amsterdam — a canceled third-person adventure telling the story of a dark wizard in 17th-century Amsterdam. In 2019, the developer mentioned that he would like to finish the game.
OMG.. what an announcement at @rebootdevelop !!!!!!!!

Interestingly, yesterday Tom Henderson revealed fresh details about Assassin's Creed: Codename Hexe, which could have been inspired by Désilets' game. Thanks to the insider, it was revealed that Hexe's main heroine can possess cats — a similar ability was possessed by the protagonist of 1666: Amsterdam.
