The developers of Alone in The Dark began to be fired after the game's poor start
It seems that the low ratings for the Alone in The Dark reboot have affected the employees of the Pieces Interactive studio. Some developers have already faced layoffs.
One piece of evidence was a post by game artist Helena Hansen. The designer indicated on her social media profile that she was looking for work, and also posted a post clearly hinting at the situation in the studio:
Apparently, not only Helena Hansen herself is being fired, but also her other colleagues.
Let us remind you that the reboot of Alone in The Dark received rather low ratings from critics; the game's rating on OpenCritic is 64/100 points. Many criticize the bad graphics, bugs, boring combat system and monotonous enemies. On Steam, the game is rated positively by 78% of players.
Previously, the creators of the new Alone in The Dark published a laudatory trailer for their game.
