It appears that the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima will not be available for sale in countries where the PlayStation Network service is not available. Sucker Punch Productions previously stated that the game may also require PSN.

A player on Reddit shared an email from key store Green Man Gaming saying the following:

Due to an issue beyond our control the multiplayer modes in Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT will no longer be available to play without linking a PSN account, and unfortunately your region is restricted from creating a PSN account. As a result, we have removed the product from our store in your region.

Those who pre-ordered the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima have already been promised a refund. The game is still available on Steam.

Sucker Punch Productions and Sony have not yet made any statements regarding this matter.

Let us remind you that earlier for Helldivers 2 the mandatory linking of a Steam account to PSN was canceled. However, the game has still not returned for sale in regions where the PlayStation service is not available.
