Assassin's Creed: Shadows will require a constant Internet connection
To play Assassin's Creed: Shadows you will need a constant Internet connection. The information appeared on the project's official page on the PlayStation Store.
The Internet will be required even when installing the game from physical media; there is a warning about this on the Assassin's Creed: Shadows disc packaging. Probably, a constant connection to the network is necessary for the operation of the in-game store and the Assassin's Creed Infinity service. They plan to launch it along with the release of a new part of AC about a dark-skinned samurai.
Let us remind you that the game will take place in medieval Japan of the 16th century. The main characters will be samurai Yasuke of African origin and shinobi girl Naoe. One of the innovations will be the change of seasons, which will affect the gameplay.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be released on November 15 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version can be purchased from the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
Earlier, rumors appeared about a monthly subscription that would be introduced for the Assassin's Creed Infinity service.
