The disastrous Redfall will receive an offline mode before the closure of Arkane Austin
Developers from Arkane Austin will still add the ability to play Redfall without a constant connection to the network. Let's remember that Microsoft recently announced the closure of the studio.
The creators of Redfall spoke on social networks about working on the latest patch, which adds an offline mode, the ability to pause the game and much more. They also thanked all the players for supporting them since the release.
The multiplayer vampire shooter was released in 2023 and failed at launch. The game did not have the usual immersiveness of Arcane; the project suffered from numerous bugs and poor optimization. According to some insiders, the reason for this state of release was inconsistency within the studio, pressure from ZeniMax and staff shortages.
It recently became known that before the news of the closure, Arkane Austin was planning to begin development of Dishonored 3.
