A screenshot from an early version of Valve's shooter has leaked online
In a stream of leaked materials, Deadlock found a screenshot of an earlier version of the shooter, when the project was called Neon Prime. At that time, Valve's game was intended to be more vibrant, and the style was close to Overwatch and Team Fortress 2.
In the screenshot you can see one of the locations, interface and character design. Probably at some stage of development it was decided to completely change the visuals of the game, since in recent images it became closer to Half-Life 2.
Now the project is a MOBA shooter for 12 people, the events of which unfold in the world of fantasy steampunk. Insider Tom Henderson compares the gameplay with Dota 2, but the game will have its own features, such as currency, the role of which is played by souls.
Recently, the gameplay and screenshots of Valve's shooter appeared online.
