Rumor: the new Call of Duty will implement movement mechanics, like in Max Payne

According to rumors, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will implement the Omnidirectional Movement mechanic. Players will be able to slide, sprint, and dive in different directions in gunfights.

This was reported by Insider Gaming, citing the author of the leak with the nickname BobNetworkUK. According to him, this movement mechanic will be reminiscent of the jumping while shooting in Max Payne. All actions will have their own combination of keys/buttons.

According to other BobNetworkUK leaks, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 may also bring back the «theater mode» that allowed players to create mini-movies within the game.
