The rating of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered on Steam has taken a course to the bottom — players are leaving negative reviews en masse in protest. All because of Activision's ban on the release of the H2M multiplayer mod.

The fan add-on was supposed to add the multiplayer mode from Modern Warfare 2 to the remaster, which made players very happy. The excitement was so high that the game even got into the top sales on Steam. However, yesterday, Activision's lawyers sent the creators of H2M a letter demanding that they stop working on the mod, which the team announced on social networks. The modification was supposed to be released today, but now it seems that this is impossible.

In response, players began to smash the rating of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered on Steam, having already lowered it to 56%. Over the past two days, the game has received almost two thousand negative reviews, and their flow does not stop. Some gamers even started to apply for refunds for their purchases.

The Activision company has not yet responded to this action.

Let us remind you that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released in October. However, long before its release, gameplay and in-game story videos leaked online.
