Assassin's Creed: Shadows brings back a forgotten mechanic from the old parts
The developers of Assassin's Creed: Shadows have revealed that the game will feature an old mechanic that hasn't appeared in the series for 9 years. We are talking about double assassinations, which first appeared in Assassin's Creed 2.
The female assassin Naoe will be able to kill two opponents using a hidden blade and a tanto dagger. The last time this feature appeared was in Assassin's Creed: Syndicate in 2015, after which it was safely forgotten.
Overall, the authors promise a complete rethinking of stealth. For example, Naoe will be able to move by crawling and hiding in the shadows, hiding in water and fog, as well as using a grappling hook. Samurai Yasuke, on the other hand, does not even possess parkour skills, but he wields a katana and other weapons masterfully.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be released on November 15 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
