Death Stranding 2 has been given a big presentation
At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was given a big presentation. Hideo Kojima's studio shared new footage from the game, introduced new characters, and demonstrated an unusual photo mode.
At the exhibition, Kojima Production showed several trailers with new and old characters. The videos featured Captain Tarman, played by director George Miller, Tomorrow by Eli Fanning, the ventriloquist's dummy Dollman, voiced by Jonathan Roumie, and Rainie, played by Shioli Kutsuna, familiar to many as Yukio from Deadpool 2. Heartman will also return in the sequel.
Among other things, Hideo Kojima presented a photo mode that will be available to players. Sam will be able to find a Polaroid in the game world, after which a new function will be unlocked for gamers. If you point the camera at characters, the latter will start posing in every possible way in the frame. By the way, the photo mode will somehow affect the plot of the game.
The release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is still scheduled for 2025 for the PlatStation 5. The game does not yet have an exact release date — for some reason, Kojima Production did not disclose it during TGS.
